The 3-year course program of CS course includes three different levels: CSEET, Executive & Professional. And clearing them is the dream of almost all the budding professionals.

 How to Become a Company SecretaryThis step is the first step towards being a Company Secretary. It consists of a combination of four papers and clearing these exams is essential for all the candidates who are starting off with their CS journey.

Paper-1: Business Communication
Paper-2: Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning
Paper-3: Economic & Business Environment
Paper-4: Current Affairs, Presentation & Communication Skills

CS EXECUTIVE 

 How to Become a Company SecretaryClearing the CS Executive exams is the second step of the ladder. This level consists of clearing 2 modules, a total of 8 papers. Candidates are required to clear each paper of both modules.

Module-1 

Paper-1: Jurisprudence, Interpretation & General Laws
Paper-2: Company Law
Paper-3: Setting up of Business Entities and Closure
Paper-4: Tax Laws

Module-2

Paper-1: Corporate and Management Accounting
Paper-2: Securities Laws & Capital Markets
Paper-3: Economic, Business and Commercial Laws
Paper-4: Financial & Strategic Management

CS PROFESSIONAL 

 How to Become a Company SecretaryThis is the last step of the CS journey. Clearing these exams can give all the CS aspirants a chance to live their dreams. Candidates are required to clear 3 modules and a total of 9 papers (3 papers of each module).

Module-1 

Paper-1: Advanced Company Law and Practice
Paper-2: Secretarial Audit, Compliance Management and Due Diligence
Paper-3: Corporate Restructuring, Valuation, and Insolvency

Module-2

Paper-1: Information Technology and Systems Audit
Paper-2: Financial, Treasury and Forex Management
Paper-3: Ethics, Governance and Sustainability

Module-3

Paper-1: Advanced Tax Laws and Practice
Paper-2: Drafting, Appearances and Pleadings Electives

Under Paper 3, candidates are required to select 1 out of below 5 subjects–

  1. Banking Law and Practice
  2. Capital, Commodity and Money Market
  3. Insurance Law and Practice
  4. Intellectual Property Rights – Law and Practice
  5. International Business-Laws and Practices
